xrpl-x402-payer¶
Use xrpl-x402-payer when you want a turnkey buyer experience instead of wiring the lower-level client SDK yourself.
Install¶
pip install xrpl-x402-payer
Install MCP support for local agent runtimes:
pip install "xrpl-x402-payer[mcp]"
CLI¶
xrpl-x402 pay https://merchant.example/premium --amount 0.001 --asset XRP --dry-run
xrpl-x402 proxy https://merchant.example --port 8787
xrpl-x402 skill install
xrpl-x402 mcp
pay sends a direct request, pays a valid x402 challenge, and records the result locally.
proxy starts a local forward proxy that retries valid x402 challenges automatically.
skill install installs the bundled payer skill into ~/.agents/skills/xrpl-x402-payer/.
mcp starts the official stdio MCP server for Claude Desktop, Cursor, and compatible local agents.

Environment¶

Set XRPL_RPC_URL explicitly if you want to pin the payer to one provider instead of using automatic
Testnet selection.
